seating for regular admission?
No, PHT is a very large
"Phunplex". There is seating in every space. Most people enjoy
strolling through the club enjoying the various atmospheres and entertainment
offerings. They will grab a seat at one of our comfy couches, or at cocktail tables,
bar stools, or even sit on the bricks (of the planter walls) in The
Roof Garden. Every space usually has standing space. If there is a particular
band or event in a particular space that you want to enjoy, we suggest
you arrive early enough to try to claim a table or seat.

Handicapped Accessible?
Yes and No.
Our Handicapable
Phriends are very welcome at PHT. The entire 1st phloor of the club

the phront and rear entrances and actually throughout both phloors.
We do not have an easy way to get wheelchairs from the
1st to the second phloor. We do have a ramp that can get wheelchairs from the
1st to the 2nd phloors. However, it would require assistance and it
is not accessible from public areas without assistance from our Phriendly
staff.
We suggest that wheelchairs enter through the phront door.
All six Restrooms at PHT on the 1st and 2nd phloors are handicapped accessible. |

Can I take pictures or "tape" shows at The Phoenix Hill Tavern?
We don't really
care. Most of the bands dont really mind either. Some of the nationals
are sensitive about this sort of thing. It's just on a case by case
basis. Sometimes we don't know ourselves. We suggest you bring your
equipment, but be prepared to take it back to your vehicle and lock
it in your trunk if it is prohibited. We have lockers in the club, large
enough to store cameras and recorders during your visit.
Some Bands allow
personal photography but not professional photography equipment.

Can I order tickets over the phone through The Phoenix

No, either online @ ticketweb.com or in person

Where do I park?
PHT has a lot of off street
parking and we share parking with some of our business neighbors. You can also park on Baxter Ave, E. Broadway
or the side streets at specific times. We strongly suggest that you do
not park on residential side streets. Our neighbors rely on the street parking in front of
their homes. Always respect our residential neighbors by arriving and
leaving quietly and in a respectful manner.
*Keep car stereos
down while leaving the area. No, loud yelling and certainly no fighting. Never leave trash behind.
If you choose to park on Baxter Ave. or E. Broadway make sure that you
park legally. Park within the designated parking hashmarks and note
the hours that parking on the street is legal.
Do not park in the Taxi Zone directly in front of the club. Our taxi's
need the space and they have the legal right to have your vehicle towed
if it is parked in the Taxi Zone. |
Can I leave
my car overnight?
Yes! If you feel that you
have had too much to drink or if you are just too tired, leave your
car overnight. It is always O.K to leave your car overnight in one
of our off street spaces. You can also park on Baxter Ave. from 6PM
on Friday Until 7AM on Monday. On regular weekdays you can park legally
on the street from 6PM until 7AM the next weekday morning.
*Note: Our staff members are not allowed to help you with your
vehicle in any manner. If you have mechanical problems we will direct
you to a public phone were you can request assistance from a professional
road service.
|
Our neighborhood is relatively safe, but use your head!
Dont be a "Phool !"
Lock you car. Don't leave valuables in clear view inside your vehicle.
Lock valuables up in your trunk. Do not leave convertible tops down
or sun roofs open. Walk with someone if at all possible. Our security
staff will always escort our guests (male or female) to their vehicles
when requested.
|
Where is The Phoenix Hill Tavern located?
The
Phoenix Hill Tavern is conveniently located just 5 minutes from downtown
at 644 Baxter Avenue, just 1/2 block north of the Baxter/Broadway/Cherokee
Road intersection, right across the street from Cave Hill Cemetery. So
come on in and have a seat, 'cuz you're better off here than across the street!
|
What do I do if I have a problem with another disorderly guest?
DO
NOT try to handle any problem situations inside or outside of our club.
Report the situation to a door person and and or ask to talk to the
manager on duty. Our door security personell are easily identifiable
by their bright yellow shirts or jackets. If you are involved in a
bar fight odds are you will be asked to leave and depending on the
situation and managements discretion you may be banned for a short,
long or permanent amount of time! Our rule thumb if you are involved
in any type of fight is "when in doubt they both
go out." Managment will not tolerate any type pf physical violence.
It will be dealt with very strictly.
|
What to do if I am asked to leave the property?
Do
so quickly and quietly... without drama, abusive or profane language and
certainly no physical violence or club damage. Usually our guests are
asked to leave the premisis for the night. They are not usually being
barred. We find that our guests who wind up being permanantly barred, are those
who don't want to "let it go" after they are cut off from
alcohol service or asked to leave the property for some other reason. |
Top 10 ways you will be asked to leave PHT or permanantely barred?
| 1) Fighting. |
| 2) Over consumption of alcohol |
| 3) Making rude or disrespectful
remarks to staff |
| 4) Stealing anything
- Especially tip jars and $ from the tip jars. |
| 5) Presenting a fake I.D. |
| 6) Damaging club property. |
| 7) Inappropriate touching. Keep
your hands to yourself. |
| 8) Wandering into non-public off
limits or closed sections of the club. |
| 9) Making rude or disrespectful
remarks to Band Members or other guests. |
10) Fighting.
